About Me...

Founder - Senior Counsellor at Late to Infinity
Hello! I am Bronwen Whistance. pronouns she/her I want to provide an online counselling service for adults who are newly identified as Neurodivergent, and for those who identified long ago.This is a time of discovery - of looking back with compassion, of sitting in the present with fresh eyes and looking ahead with adventure in your heart.Here's the thing - the road to here has been difficult - choose your grammatical descriptors...and forging a new identity is multi-faceted. So long as you are willing to begin, I can accompany you as a support, a witness, a cheer-squad-of-one in a safe space to explore, understand and accept yourself.I have recently joined this path as AuDHD - although, like many of you I am sure - there were plenty of signposts along the way that could have led us here sooner.Nonetheless - here we are now.
I have been working as a counsellor for 10 years, with youth and adults in Alcohol and other Drugs and Mental Health in prison and in the community, and Forensic Mental Health with NGO’S and Community Health organisations.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a background in Philosophy, a Horticulturist, a Kelpie Guardian and General Gatherer of Interesting and Surprising Things - words, knowledge, ideas, books and more books, myths and legends, fiddles and tunes, art and tattoos, seeds and plants...wonders...

Mission and Vision

Late to Infinity is committed to empowering late-diagnosed and other Neurodivergent individuals through understanding and community. My aim is to provide a service that allows people to explore who they are and how they want to live their life. Late to Infinity offers a personalised and supportive relationship to meet your challenges and develop your strengths and celebrate your journey with full awareness of the sensitivity and vulnerability this entails. I want to be part of the community that charts the territory of inclusive practice and a society that celebrates Neurodiversity and recognises Neurodivergence as a dynamic and creative part of that. I want to offer my part in kinder and more considerate ways of being, and to tend to the flourishing of Neurodivergent lives. Late to infinity invites you to join in This Very Important Adventure.
